VITROBIO France
VITRO-BIO is a pharmaceutical and cosmetic research institute located at Clermont Fd. in France. Since last 16-years, the aim of VITRO-Bio research was to find new drugs for those diseases where there is a strong demand but no efficient treatments available.
Employing modern research technology, we conducted research on: the role of proteases in wound repair (mucositis, oral ulcers), cytokines inhibitors for the treatment of Psoriasis, Eczema & Dermatitis (PED) and virus glycoprotein inhibitors to treat topical viral infections. In 2010, we obtained marketing authorization (Europe) to commercialize specific Medical Devices for the treatments of:
- Traumatic oral ulcers,
- Mucositis,
- Bedsore/diabetic & pressure ulcers,
- Throat infection (spray)
- Sinusitis (spray)
- Labial herpes, &
- Genital herpes,
Due to topical mode of action and absence of any pharmacological or Metabolic effects on the biological surface over which the products are applied, they are recently registered as Medical devices in France/Europe. Being the 1st specific treatments in their respective fields, a few products are already commercialized in some countries (France, Spain, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Israel, South Africa..).
VITROBIO is now recognized as one of the best pharmaceutical R&D center in the world (European PAEXA award & French academy of Science Award). We are interested to establish partnership with companies looking for new innovative drugs, ready for sale, and having a huge market potential.
